Since 1973, Timberland has been committed to offering the finest products, using only the best materials and applying strict quality control standards. Timberland products (the “Product(s)”) are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the original date of purchase. Our warranty is an expression of our confidence in the material and workmanship of our company’s Products, and assures unsurpassed quality for rugged, dependable Products. Because Timberland cannot control the quality of Products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Timberland or a Timberland authorized seller, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Timberland reserves the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites. This warranty does not apply to the effects of normal wear and tear, nor does it apply to Products that have been damaged by misuse, neglect, accident modification or unauthorized repair.
If you believe your product is defective, please email a completed Warranty Return Form to us at firstname.lastname@example.org along with the following pictures:
- Internal tags showing style number and size
- Product in its entirety
- Bottom of soles showing tread, for footwear
- Defective area
- Proof of purchase within 12 months from the original date of purchase from an authorized seller
If, upon inspection, we determine that the Product is defective, we reserve the right to replace the Product or issue you a credit, depending on the nature of the defect. There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to the Products, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Under no circumstances shall Timberland be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of this warranty, breach of contract, or strict liability. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
We do not require you to register your footwear with us to receive warranty benefits.

LET US CLEAN UP THOSE BOOTS & SHOES
Please note we are not currently offering in-store footwear cleaning due to COVID-19.
We don’t cover footwear under warranty if it’s been through normal wear and tear. Our boots and shoes are built to work hard, and no footwear can last forever (even ours!). However, if your favorite pair is in need of some attention, we invite you to bring them into any Timberland Specialty Store or Timberland Factory Store for a complimentary cleaning and conditioning.
